We are planning to provide support for Linux Computers via Hexnode MDM.  It’s on our roadmap but a timeline is not available at the moment.

Hi Brendan,

Hope you are doing well,

Support of Linux is something that we have been working on and may take quite a while before we are able to develop this since it is a different OS entirely. In addition to finding a way to establish a connection with the Hexnode portal, we would have to develop a handful of features so that these devices can be managed effectively.

We cannot provide a timeline as each of the features being developed would have to go through various stages of testing to ensure that the final set of features does not fall short in terms of quality. We shall let you know as soon as we are ready to release an ETA on the support of this OS.

If you have any particular features or use cases while supporting Linux devices, you can mail us via mdm-support@hexnode.com and we shall have this added to the feature request pool and consider this based on the feasibility.

We would like to thank you for your patience as you bear with us until we are able to roll out support for your Linux devices.

We have been working on supporting Linux, but it could take a considerable time until we are ready to roll out the feature. We are still determining a timeline since each feature must go through multiple phases before reaching you.

When we are prepared to provide an ETA for the support of this OS, we will let you know. Meanwhile, thank you for your patience with us.

I’m afraid it’s taking us longer than expected to extend support to Linux devices. There had been a slight shift in priority, but we’re getting back on track now and preparing a viable execution timeline.
