Hey, Thanks for posting. Happy to help.

The pre-approved enrollment method enables you to import the devices into Hexnode MDM even before the user completes the enrollment procedure. You can assign policies to these devices and also group the devices. When the enrollment process is completed, the policies will automatically become effective on the devices.
You can import devices in bulk based on their serial numbers via a CSV file. Please navigate to Enroll > All Enrollments > Enterprise > Pre-approve to upload the CSV file
You can also limit the enrolling devices to pre-approved devices only. Please navigate to Enroll > Settings and check the ‘Pre-approved devices only’ option to enable this restriction.

Kindly use the help link to know more about Pre-approved enrollment.

    Cheers!

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

The Windows devices cannot be enrolled via the Pre-approved enrollment method. You can enroll Android, iOS, Apple TV and macOS devices in Hexnode via the Pre-approved enrollment method.
The pre-approved enrollment of devices can be done by adding a CSV file with device details. Also, Apple devices can be enrolled via this method by enabling the option ‘Add as a Pre-approved device’ while configuring the DEP account.

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

Yes, the devices enrolled via the pre-approved enrollment method will be displayed under the Manage tab.

Please navigate to Manage-> Devices and you can list out the pre-approved devices using the filter options at the right side of the screen. Please choose the option ‘Pre-approved’ under Enrollment Status and the devices will get listed.
Also, when you click on the device name of a pre-approved device under Manage-> Devices, you will be directed to the device summary page, with the top banner ‘Pre-approved device’, if the user still has not enrolled it.
Please use the below screenshot for a reference:

Also, you will not be able to fetch the location or device details of these pre-approved devices, until the user enrolls it.
