    Thanks for the reply.

Since the app runs in the foreground all the time, you cannot take the device out of kiosk by tapping the home screen 10 times.

However, you can exit the kiosk mode in these devices:

    • Navigate to Kiosk Lockdown-> Android Kiosk Lockdown-> Kiosk Exit Settings in the applied kiosk policy.
    • Enable the option ‘Exit manually from kiosk mode while an app is open’.
    • Once this policy is associated successfully to the device, tap on the top-left corner of the screen 10 times and provide the kiosk exit password.

Please note that the option Enable status bar under Peripheral Settings should be disabled for this to work.

Also, the above method is supported only on devices running Android 8 and below. Check out the help doc on disabling single app kiosk for more info

Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

Yes, kiosk mode can be disabled on these devices.

To exit Kiosk on Android device with OS version 8 and above:

    • Navigate to Kiosk Lockdown-> Android Kiosk Lockdown-> Kiosk Exit Settings.
    • Enable the option ‘Reboot to exit from kiosk mode’ and provide a time for app to relaunch.
    • After successfully associating the policy to the device, reboot the device. There will be the specified time delay before the app launch.
    • When the device reboots, tap on the vacant part of the screen 10 times and provide the kiosk exit password.

The kiosk mode will now be disabled.

    Cheers!
