Encrypting Android devices using Hexnode MDM

HI, noticed on the scan the QR screen there is a check box to skip encryption, when ticked does this mean the device will be encrypted or not? will it stop the encryption happening on device through all manner?

    Hey, Thanks for reaching out to us.

    If the option ‘Skip device encryption’ under Enroll-> Platform-specific-> Android-> Android Enterprise is checked, the device will not get encrypted on being enrolled in Android Enterprise via Hexnode.
    Please note that disabling the option will only stop the encryption happening on device enrollment.
    The device can be encrypted via other methods. Such as in latest Android devices, the device gets automatically encrypted when a password is set on it.
