ActiveSync for Outlook in iOS

Hey,

i wanna set up a policy which automatically pushes an Exchange ActiveSync account to the Outlook app. From now, as soon as i push the policy to the device, its only gets configured in the iOS native Mail app, which we surely not want to use for business accounts. is there any way i can archive same outcome with the outlook app?

help would be appreciated.

    Hey Sascha!
    Apologies, but it’s not possible to push an Exchange ActiveSync account to any other app other than the iOS native Mail app via policy. There’s something else you could do though.
    Head onto the Apps tab, configure the app using XML and push it to the device. This way, admins can pre-configure email accounts and other in-app settings before deploying them to the device.
