Abbas Kudrati, a long-time cybersecurity practitioner and CISO, is Microsoft Asia’s Lead Chief Cybersecurity Advisor for the Security Solutions Area. In addition to his work at Microsoft, he serves as an executive advisor to Deakin University, LaTrobe University, HITRUST ASIA, EC Council ASIA, and several security and technology start-ups. He supports the broader security community through his work with ISACA Chapters and student mentorship.

He co-authored a book, “Threat Hunting in a multi cloud environment” and is currently working on his next book on the topic of “Zero Trust Journey Across the Digital Estate”.

He is also a part-time Professor with Deakin University and a regular speaker on Zero-Trust, Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, Governance, Risk, and Compliance.

Andre Kerstens is a Senior Solution Architect with Noname Security specializing in all things Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Andre has touched on all aspects of technical computing in his 20 year career, from programming to storage to compute to networking and last but not least the exciting world of cyber-security. He’s pretty crazy (as in crazy interested) about cloud infrastructure and loves spending time on automating and securing workloads in the cloud. Outside of work he likes to fly airplanes and sail boats.

As a CISO and cybersecurity strategist, he identifies emerging risks and opportunities to help organizations balance threats, costs, and usability factors to achieve an optimal level of security. Matthew is very active in the industry. He is an experienced keynote speaker, collaborates with industry partners to tackle pressing problems and has published acclaimed articles, white papers, blogs, and videos on a wide range of cybersecurity topics. Matthew is a member of multiple advisory boards and consults on best-practices and emerging risks to academic, business, and government audiences across the globe.

What is the venue for HexCon21?

The venue for HexCon21 is your screen. HexCon21 is a completely virtual event just like HexCon20. We have arranged this global, virtual experience as we value the health of our customers, partners, employees and all the knowledge-hungry attendees above all else.

What is the registration fee for HexCon21?

Zero. This time, there is no registration fee for HexCon21. Everyone is invited for the complete virtual experience.

Will there be a HexCon22?

Yes! HexCon is an annual event that you can look forward to every year. Hopefully, we can host HexCon as an in-person event next year.
